The Inductive Proximity Switch Model SN04-N is widely used in the automatic control industry for detection, control, and non-contact switching applications. When the proximity switch detects a target object, it sends a control signal. It is commonly applied in machinery, papermaking, light industry, and other fields for tasks such as station limitation, orientation, counting, speed testing, and more.
The proximity switch consists of three main components: an oscillator, a switching circuit, and an amplifier output circuit.
- Normally Open (NO): In its normal state, the output line is disconnected, and no signal is output. When the target object is detected, the circuit closes, and the signal is sent.
- Normally Closed (NC): In its normal state, the output line is closed, and a continuous signal is output. When the target object is detected, the circuit disconnects, and the signal stops.
