With exceptional sensitivity and precision, it detects a broad range of volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) in the air and provides equivalent CO2 (eCO2) output. The SGP41 delivers a fully calibrated air quality output signal, making it an excellent choice for environmental monitoring and air treatment applications.

Designed as a digital smart switch and regulation unit, the SGP41 is ideal for air treatment devices such as air purifiers. Using Sensirion’s advanced Gas Index Algorithm, the sensor’s output can automatically trigger the removal of indoor pollutants without the need for user interaction. This feature allows continuous monitoring of VOC levels, detecting potentially harmful air quality events that may go unnoticed by humans. Additionally, the SGP41’s ability to control air treatment devices based on real-time sensor data helps save energy by automatically deactivating devices once the air quality is restored.

Its compact design ensures seamless integration into various applications, including smart home systems, IoT devices, mobile devices, and home appliances.
