The WHEELTEC LSLIDAR N10P lidar scanner is a compact and high-precision 360° laser scanning sensor with a maximum detection range of 25 meters. Powered by advanced Time-of-Flight (TOF) technology, it delivers high stability, excellent resistance to ambient light, and precise distance measurement—suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
The N10P operates at a sampling rate of 5400 times per second and supports an adjustable scan frequency from 6 to 12Hz, ensuring real-time and accurate point cloud data for SLAM, mapping, and robotic applications. It features dual-echo mode, intensity data output, and 360° laser scanning.
Two communication options are available:
- UART (serial port) module version
- Ethernet module version for high-speed and long-distance data transmission
The sensor integrates a brushless motor, greatly reducing mechanical friction and achieving a lifespan of over 20,000 hours, significantly outperforming traditional lidar scanners. It also uses a Class 1 FDA-compliant infrared laser, safe for human and animal exposure.
Each package includes the necessary cables and modules for immediate integration, along with comprehensive development support: SDKs for ROS1, ROS2, Windows, Ubuntu, STM32, and Python-based serial communication.
