The new version of the DFRobot DFRduino Mega2560 has an improved VIN power supply circuit, replacing the heat-prone LDO regulator with a DC-DC circuit. This upgrade ensures safer and more reliable operation during extended use. Alongside addressing heat dissipation, it also supports a wider input voltage range, allowing the controller to function stably even with a single 3.7V lithium battery.
The DFRobot DFRduino Mega2560 is a microcontroller development board based on the ATmega2560 chip, fully compatible with the Arduino MEGA2560. It features 54 digital I/O pins, 16 analog input pins, 4 hardware UART ports, and operates with a 16 MHz crystal oscillator. Equipped with a bootloader, it allows program uploads via USB without requiring additional external programming tools. You can power it directly through a USB cable or use an adapter or battery that meets the technical specifications for external power input. With 256KB of flash memory, double that of the ATmega1280, the Mega2560 provides ample space for your projects and creative applications.
