The ATGM336H-5N series is a compact, high-performance BDS/GNSS full-constellation positioning and navigation module. Powered by the 4th-generation low-power GNSS SoC chip AT6558, it supports multiple global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), including China’s BDS (BeiDou Navigation Satellite System), the United States’ GPS, Russia’s GLONASS, the European Union’s GALILEO, Japan’s QZSS, and satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS) such as WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, and MSAS. The AT6558 chip is a true six-in-one multimode GNSS chip with 32 tracking channels, enabling simultaneous reception from six navigation systems, providing combined positioning, navigation, and timing solutions. With high sensitivity, low power consumption, and cost efficiency, the ATGM336H-5N is ideal for automotive navigation, handheld positioning, and wearable devices, and it serves as a direct replacement for the Ublox MAX series modules.
Features:
- Multi-Constellation Support: Provides positioning using BDS, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and SBAS systems in single-system or combined modes.
- High Sensitivity: Cold start acquisition sensitivity of -148 dBm and tracking sensitivity of -162 dBm.
- High Accuracy: Positioning accuracy of up to 2.5 meters (CEP50, open sky).
- Quick First Fix: First fix time of 32 seconds.
- Low Power Consumption: Operates continuously at less than 25mA (@3.3V), making it energy efficient.
- Robust Design: Built-in antenna detection and short-circuit protection.
- Output Protocol: Outputs data via UART in NMEA0183 format; see the “CASIC Multi-GNSS Receiver Protocol Specification” for details.
Applications:
The ATGM336H-5N series is designed for a wide range of GNSS-based applications, including:
- Automotive Navigation: Reliable and accurate positioning for in-vehicle navigation systems.
- Handheld Devices: Ideal for GPS-enabled portable devices used in navigation and tracking.
- Wearable Technology: Compact design and low power consumption make it suitable for smartwatches, fitness trackers, and other wearables.
- GNSS-Enabled IoT: Perfect for Internet of Things devices requiring robust positioning and navigation capabilities.
